2010 Annual Historical Black
Experience the unique opportunity to tour the finest colleges and universities where Black students were inspired to dream the “possible” dream. Higher Learning Black College Tours was founded for students to experience the rich history and cultural of historical black colleges and universities. The tour is an educational experience for students to take pride in the history of a Black institution.
Higher Learning Black College Tour started out by taking a handful of students to historical black colleges and universities on spring break to engage young minds to believe education was within reach.
Tour coordinator: D. Michelle Sullivan-Jones – Mrs. Jones has a background in group travel and tour planning. She is very knowledgeable, detail-orientated and verse in project management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and attended a HBCU. Her mission is for high school students to step onto the grounds of history that has laid a path to their future.
